mouth.
DRAINAGE AREA.--1,125 mi².

GAGE.--Water-stage recorder and crest-stage gage. Datum
of gage is 183.33 ft above NGVD of 1929 and 182.94 ft above
NAVD of 1988.
REMARKS.--Extensive diurnal fluctuation caused by power
and industrial operations. Flow regulated since 1953 by Carry
Falls Reservoir, about 46 mi upstream, and by powerplant, 0.4
mi upstream; considerable natural storage in large lakes
upstream from Piercefield.
Water Years 2014-23: Records good except those for estimated
daily discharges, which are poor.
