LOCATION.--Lat 43° 37'04", long 116° 57'14" (NAD27), in SE1/4 SW1/4 SE1/4 sec.5, T.3 N., R.5 W., Owyhee County, Hydrologic Unit 17050103, Homedale quad., on left bank at downstream side of Highway 19 bridge crossing, and 1 mi west of Homedale.
DRAINAGE AREA.--413 mi2.
PERIOD OF RECORD.--April 1903 to December 1909 (fragmentary), 1963-64, 1970, 1977, 1980 (miscellaneous measurements only), August 1988 to July 1993 (discontinued). Prior to 1988, published as "Sucker Creek".
REVISED RECORDS.--WDR ID-90-1: 1990 (M).
GAGE.--Water-stage records. Elevation of gage is 2,270 ft above NGVD of 1929, from topographic map. April 1903 to December 1909, at site 0.5 mi downstream at different datum.
REMARKS.--Several diversions upstream for irrigation.
EXTREMES FOR PERIOD OF RECORD.--Maximum discharge, 5,750 ft3/s Aug. 13, 1990, gage height, 8.47 ft, from rating curve extended above 645 ft3/s on basis of slope-area measurement of peak flow; no flow for many days prior to 1988.
EXTREMES OUTSIDE PERIOD OF RECORD.--Flood of Feb. 1, 1963, reached a discharge of 13,300 ft3/s, by slope-area measurement.
