LOCATION.--Lat 43° 48'55", long 115° 48'27"(Rev.)(NAD83), in SW1/4 NE1/4 sec.36, T.5 N., R.5 E., Boise County, Idaho City quad., Hydrologic Unit 17050112, on right bank 0.25 mi upstream from Steamboat Gulch, 0.5 mi upstream from mouth, and 1.5 mi southeast of Idaho City.

DRAINAGE AREA.--6.58 mi2, revised.

PERIOD OF RECORD.--January 1939 to February 1940 (discontinued prior to initial operation of Barry Placer diversion).

GAGE.--Water-stage recorder and broad-crested wooden control. Elevation of gage is 3,990 ft above NGVD of 1929, from topographic map.

REMARKS.--Water is diverted for Davis placer from left bank of Pine Creek in SE1/4 sec.12, T.5 N., R.5 E., 2.6 mi above station. Water is diverted from right bank of Thorn Creek in NW1/4 sec.21, T.5 N., R.6 E., into Pine Creek above Davis placer diversion. These flows bypass station.

EXTREMES FOR PERIOD OF RECORD.--Maximum discharge, 12 ft3/s Mar. 25, Apr. 1-3, 1939; maximum gage height, 2.38 ft, Apr. 3, 1939; minimum discharge, 0.03 ft3/s at times during July to September 1939; minimum gage height, 1.07 ft many days in 1939, 1940.
