LOCATION.--Lat 41`46'30.8", long
77`23'49.4", Hydrologic Unit 02050205, at at U.S. Geological
Survey Northern Appalachian Research Laboratory near Asaph.
OWNER.--U.S. Geological Survey.
AQUIFER.--Glacial Outwash, Pleistocene Age.
WELL CHARACTERISTICS.--Observation well, drilled to 60
feet in 1977, diameter 2 in, PVC casing to 20 feet, slotted PVC pipe
from 20 to 60 feet. Well depth has decreased to 49 feet as of July 16,
2012, because of sand entry through slotted pipe.
INSTRUMENTATION.--Pressure transducer with 15-minute
recording interval.
DATUM.--Elevation of land surface is 1,154.34 feet
above National Geodetic Vertical Datum of 1929, from survey. Measuring
point: Top of casing, 1.80 ft above land-surface datum.
REMARKS.--Daily maximum, minimum, and mean water
levels since October 2012.
PERIOD OF RECORD.--October 2012 to August 2017.
