LOCATION.--Lat 39°30'31", long 75°27'38" referenced to North American Datum of 1983, Lower Alloways Crk Twp, Salem County, NJ, Hydrologic Unit 02040206, on left bank at northwestern side of bridge on Locust Island Road (County Route 658) in Hancocks Bridge, 3.7 mi southwest from Quinton, and 4.0 mi south of Salem.
PERIOD OF RECORD.--Water years 1980-85, 1993, 1997 to current year.
REVISIONS HISTORY.--WDR US-2011: 2008(M), 2009(M), 2010(M).
GAGE.--Tide elevation and water temperature recorder with telemetry and tidal crest-stage gage. Datum of gage is 0.00 ft above NAVD of 1988. Prior to October 2008, datum of gage was 0.00 ft NGVD of 1929. Data published to NGVD of 1929 can be adjusted to NAVD of 1988 by subtracting 0.91 ft. Online peaks have been adjusted to current datum.
EXTREMES FOR PERIOD OF RECORD.--Maximum elevation, 6.66 ft (adjusted to NAVD of 1988), Dec 11, 1992, from high-water mark.
