LOCATION.--Lat 40°57'19", long 74°05'59" referenced to North American Datum of 1983, Fair Lawn Borough, Bergen County, NJ, Hydrologic Unit 02030103, 100 ft downstream of Hohokus Brook, 0.7 mi upstream of bridge on Dunkerhook Road, and 2.6 mi northwest of Paramus.
DRAINAGE AREA.--43.3 mi².
PERIOD OF RECORD.--Miscellaneous measurements, water year 2011. Continuous-record discharge station, October 2012 to current year.
REVISIONS HISTORY.--Revisions made prior to water year 2014 available from Water Data Reports (WDR) listed as follows: WYS US-2015: 2013(M), 2014(P).  On Sept 10, 2019, discharge above 580 ft³/s for the period Oct 1, 2012 to Jan 17, 2015, was revised based on changes to the stage-discharge rating.
GAGE.--Water-stage recorder with telemetry, crest-stage gage, and concrete control. Datum of gage is 48.07 ft above NAVD of 1988.
REMARKS.--Records fair, except for estimated discharges, which are poor. Diurnal fluctuations at low flow probably due to patterns of sewage effluent entering river upstream. The flow past this station may be affected by pumpage from wells by United Water New Jersey and others.
EXTREMES FOR PERIOD OF RECORD.--Maximum discharge, 2,730 ft³/s, April 16, 2018, gage height, 5.65 ft; minimum discharge, 8.9 ft³/s, Sept 11, 2016.
