LOCATION.-- Lat 39°42'22.9", long 78°09'09.9", Washington County, MD, Hydrologic
   Unit 02070004, 1.0 mi north of Hancock, MD, 3.0 mi southeast of Warfordsburg, PA,
   and 1.35 mi upstream from mouth.
DRAINAGE AREA.--113 mi2.
PERIOD OF RECORD.-- October 2005 to current year.
REVISIONS.http://waterdata.usgs.gov/nwis/inventory/?site_no=01613095 (2020): Drainage area.
GAGE.--Water-stage recorder and crest-stage gage. Datum of gage is 398.83 ft above North American 
   Vertical Datum of 1988.
REMARKS.--Occasional regulation of low flows from unknown source upstream from station and from the 
   effluent treatment plant located at the station. U.S. Geological Survey satellite data-collection
   platform at station.
EXTREMES FOR PERIOD OF RECORD.--Maximum discharge, 5,920 ft³/s, March 5, 2008, gage height, 10.33 ft;
   maximum gage height, 10.41 ft, Sep. 28, 2018, as a result of backwater at station;
   minimum discharge, 0.27 ft³/s, Aug. 31, Sept. 1, 2010, as a result of regulation.  
COOPERATION.--Funding for the operation of this station is provided by the U.S. Environmental Protection
   Agency.
