LOCATION.--Lat 43° 09'46", long 112° 20'24"(Rev.)(NAD83), in SE1/4 NE1/4 sec.15, T.3 S., R.35 E., Bingham County, Blackfoot quad., Hydrologic Unit 17040207, 0.5 mi downstream from headgates on Blackfoot River, and 2 mi southeast of Blackfoot.
PERIOD OF RECORD.--May 1912 to June 1924 (discontinued). Monthly summary data only, July 1924 to September 1950, furnished by the Bureau of Indian Affairs, Fort Hall, published in WSP 1317,
GAGE.--Water-stage recorder. Elevation of gage is 4,495 ft above NGVD of 1929, from topographic map. May 15, 1912 to Oct. 10, 1914, water-stage recorder at datum 1.53 ft lower. Apr. 20, 1915 to July 13, 1921, staff gage at present datum.
REMARKS.--Fort Hall Lower Canal diverts water from the left bank of Blackfoot River on line between sec.11 and 14, for irrigation on the Fort Hall Indian Reservation.
EXTREMES FOR PERIOD OF RECORD.--Maximum discharge, 544 ft3/s July 9, 1922, gage height,
4.51 ft; maximum daily discharge, 404 ft3/s May 25, 1926, gage height, 3.11 ft;
no flow on many days.
