GAGE.--Water-stage recorder. Elevation of gage is 4,495 ft above NGVD of 1929, from topographic map. May 15, 1912 to Oct. 10, 1914, water-stage recorder at datum 1.53 ft lower. Apr. 20, 1915 to July 13, 1921, staff gage at present datum.

REMARKS.--Fort Hall Lower Canal diverts water from the left bank of Blackfoot River on line between sec.11 and 14, for irrigation on the Fort Hall Indian Reservation.

EXTREMES FOR PERIOD OF RECORD.--Maximum discharge, 544 ft³/s July 9, 1922, gage height, 4.51 ft; maximum daily discharge, 404 ft³/s May 25, 1926, gage height, 3.11 ft; no flow on many days.
