LOCATION.--Lat 41° 57'20", long 114° 37'40" (NAD27), in sec.17, T.47 N., R.65 E., Elko County, NV, Hydrologic Unit 17040213, Jackpot quad., about 0.5 mi upstream from headworks of North Side ditch, 2 mi upstream from Shoshone ranch house, and about 11 mi northeast of San Jacinto, Nevada.

DRAINAGE AREA.--309 mi².

PERIOD OF RECORD.--May 1914 to August 1915 (discontinued).

GAGE.--Water-stage recorder. Elevation of gage is 5,170 ft above sea level, by barometer. Prior to June 15, 1914, staff gage and June 15 to Aug. 27, 1914, water-stage recorder 500 ft downstream at different datum.

REMARKS.--Many small diversions above station.
