LOCATION.--Lat 44° 00'20", long 113° 47'30"(NAD27), in sec.24, T.8 N., R.22 E., Custer County, Hydrologic Unit 17040218, Elkhorn Creek quad., on right bank at State highway bridge, 7 mi upstream from Mackay Dam, 7 mi southeast of Chilly, and 11 mi northwest of Mackay.

PERIOD OF RECORD.--May to October 1921 (discontinued).

GAGE.--Staff gage. Elevation of gage is 6,150 ft above NGVD of 1929, from topographic map.

REMARKS.--Small ranch diversions for irrigation above station.

COOPERATION.--Gage-height record and results of numerous discharge measurements furnished by water commissioner for Big Lost River.

EXTREMES FOR PERIOD OF RECORD.--Maximum discharge observed, 383 ft3/s June 13, 1921, gage height, 4.10 ft; no flow May 1-11, 1921.
