LOCATION.--Lat 42° 10'10", long 115° 12'50"(Rev.)(NAD27), in sec.31, T.14 S., R.11 E., Owyhee County, Salls Crossing quad., Hydrologic Unit 17050102, 1 mi downstream from Three Creek, and 7 mi northwest of Three Creek Store/Post Office.

DRAINAGE AREA.--210 mi2, approximately (1960).

PERIOD OF RECORD.--May to September 1953, November 1953 to November 1954, January 1955, March 1955 to September 1960 (fragmentary 1953, 1954, 1955) (discontinued).

GAGE.--Water-stage recorder. Elevation of gage is 5,150 ft above NGVD of 1929, by barometer. Prior to Aug. 30, 1955, staff gage at Salls Ranch, 3 mi downstream at different datum.

REMARKS.--Diversions for irrigation above and below station. Water diverted from Deadwood Creek, tributary of the East Fork, to Cedar Creek Reservoir in Salmon Falls Creek basin for irrigation.

EXTREMES FOR PERIOD OF RECORD.--Maximum discharge recorded, 451 ft3/s May 19, 1957, gage height, 7.43 ft; minimum recorded, 1.1 ft3/s Sept. 11, 12, 13, 1955, gage height, 2.32 ft.
