LOCATION.--Lat 44° 14'35", long 116° 50'00" (NAD27), in NE1/4 SE1/4 sec.32, T.11 N., R.4 W., Washington County, Weiser Cove quad., Hydrologic Unit 17050124, on left bank 3.2 mi downstream from headworks of canal, and 7 mi east of Weiser.

PERIOD OF RECORD.--April 1920 to October 1969 (discontinued). Winter records fragmentary prior to 1950. Prior to October 1960, published as "Weiser Irrigation District Canal near Weiser".

GAGE.--Water-stage recorder. Elevation of gage is 2,160 ft, by barometer.

REMARKS.--Canal diverts water from right bank of Weiser River in sec.35, T.11 N., R.4 W., for irrigation of abou5t 11,700 acres (1953 determination), including about 1,200 acres irrigated from five diversions above station in projects of Weiser and Weiser Bench Irrigation Districts.

EXTREMES FOR PERIOD OF RECORD.--Maximum daily discharge, 223 ft³/s June 24, 1957; no flow at times when gates were closed.
