LOCATION.--Lat 44° 29'00", long 113° 49'00" (NAD83), in SE1/4 sec.2, T.13 N., R.22 E., Custer County, Mahogany Hill quad., Hydrologic Unit 17060202, about 0.2 mi upstream from mouth of Goldburg Creek, and about 2 mi west of Goldburg.
DRAINAGE AREA.--176 mi2.
PERIOD OF RECORD.--June to September 1913 (discontinued).
GAGE.--Staff gage. Elevation of gage is 5,860 ft above NGVD of 1929, from topographic map.
REMARKS.--Numerous diversions for irrigation above station. Water diverted above sinks by Wells ditch into Goldburg Creek for irrigation below station. Considerable groundwater inflow between station and point 1 mi upstream where stream is dry at times.
EXTREMES FOR PERIOD OF RECORD.--Maximum discharge observed, 104 ft3/s
