ADDITIONAL INFORMATION
Hydraulic connection of a well to the aquifer is
regularly evaluated by policy requirements of the
U.S. Geological Survey. Well construction and
access limitations for this well preclude periodic
measurement of total depth of the well and
application of hydraulic tests, useful for assessing
changes in hydraulic connection. The larger diameter
of the well, length of screen interval, and thickness
of sand-and-gravel deposits to which the well is open
greatly limit the potential for loss of hydraulic
connection over time. The hydrograph is evaluated
over time as an indicator of possible changes in
hydraulic connection. Presently there are no
indications of change in this connection of the well
to the aquifer.
