Rainfall Disclaimer Rainfall monitoring
sites operated by the USGS in Texas are strictly for operational
purposes. Precipitation data, if available for this station, are
temporary and will only be displayed for 120 days. Precipitation
data will NOT be available for retrieval following the 120-day
display period. The temporary classification means that documented
routine inspections and other quality assurance measures are not
performed that would make the data acceptable for archival,
retrieval, or future use in general scientific or interpretive
studies. |

Retransmission, forecasts and summary by the National Weather
Service |
This site uses multiple sensors, and possibly sensor types, to
measure gage height. The final usable published data series is
presented as the Primary Sensor. The Secondary and Tertiary Sensors are
used to fill in for the Primary Sensor when the Primary Sensor is
either damaged or less accurate.
A red line on the gage height graph indicates the minimum or maximum
operational gage height limits of the respective sensor.
This gage was reinstated on June 23, 2016 at a new datum of 1,616.27
ft above NAVD88. Prior to this date, datum of the gage was 1,612.45 ft.
above NGVD29.
The datum of gage has been determined to be 1616.27 feet above NAVD
1988. To obtain stream water-surface elevation values in NAVD 1988 add
1616.27 feet to gage height values.
