STATION.--03085002 MONONGAHELA RIVER AT LOCK AND DAM 4 (LOWER POOL) AT BRADDOCK, PA
LOCATION.--Lat 40`23'33", long 79`51'37", Allegheny County, Hydrologic Unit 05020005, near right bank on river guide wall 300 ft downstream from dam at lock 2 at Braddock, 1,700 ft downstream from Turtle Creek, and 11.2 mi upstream from confluence with Allegheny River. Water quality sonde located on the left bank, left river guide wall of lock and dam at Lat 40 23' 22.25", Long 79 51' 31.75".
DRAINAGE AREA.--7,337 square miles.
PERIOD OF RECORD.--October 2011 to current year.
GAGE.--Water-stage recorder. Station maintained for stage readings only. Datum of gage is 693.64 ft above North American Vertical Datum of 1988 (from benchmark). Prior to February 20, 2024, the datum of gage was reported as 694.2 ft above National Geodetic Vertical Datum of 1929.
