This station is part of a 2-year multipurpose streamflow monitoring network expansion project for 15 new streamgages across New Hampshire. The expansion project was requested by the New Hampshire Rivers Management Advisory Committee (RMAC), proposed by the Stream Gage Task Force (SGTF), and funding for installation was provided by the New Hampshire Legislature. Data collection at this streamgage is scheduled to be discontinued on June 30, 2011. Although historic data will continue to be available, no new data will be collected. Users who are willing to contribute funding to continue operation of this streamgage should contact Keith Robinson of the USGS New Hampshire-Vermont Water Science Center at (603) 226-7807.
Station operated in cooperation with the New Hampshire Department of Environmental Services.
