LOCATION.--Lat 39°04'06.5", long 77°04'54.3", Montgomery County, MD, Hydrologic Unit 02070010, 
   on right bank approximately 1.2 mi upstream from confluence with Rock Creek, 1.7 mi east of Rockville, 
   and 2.5 mi northwest of Kensington. 
DRAINAGE AREA.--2.74 mi2.
PERIOD OF RECORD.--November 2006 to current year.
REVISIONS HISTORY.--https://waterdata.usgs.gov/nwis/dv/?site_no=01647850: 2007-2014.
GAGE.--Water-stage recorder and crest-stage gage. Datum of gage is 260.19 ft above North American
   Vertical Datum of 1988.
REMARKS.--U.S. Geological Survey satellite data-collection platform at station.
EXTREMES FOR PERIOD OF RECORD.--Maximum discharge, 3,360 ft³/s, Aug. 12, 2010, gage height, 12.78 ft;
   minimum discharge, 0.07 ft³/s or less, Oct. 10-12, 2007, as a result of stream restoration work. 
COOPERATION.--Funding for the operation of this station is provided by the Montgomery County Department   
   of Environmental Protection.
