The USGS "Reservoir Conditions in Texas
Page" shows reservoir stages referenced to National Geodetic
Vertical Datum of 1929 (NGVD 29). Since May, 2002, the USGS has reported the elevation of Medina Lake referenced to this datum. The elevation of the crest of the spillway is 1,064.2 ft above NGVD 29 and the elevation of the top of the dam is 1,076.2 ft above NGVD 29. For 'local' datum, please add 7.81 ft. to the readings.
