June 23, 2019 -- The USGS is currently unable to acquire regularly transmitted data from a subset of gages nationwide. We are actively working to restore the interruption in service, which is impacting approximately 200 sites across the country. A follow up message will be posted when the problem has been resolved.
Location.--Latitude 47°21'03", Longitude
121°39'43", in NE 1/4 NW 1/4 Section 33, Township 22 North,
Range 9 East, in King County, Hydrologic Unit 17110012,
Snoqualmie National Forest, on right bank 3.0 miles upstream from mouth
and Chester Morse Lake, 7.5 miles southeast of Cedar Falls, and at
mile 3.0. Drainage
area is 13.4 mi2. Elevation
of gage is 1,700 feet above NGVD of 1929, from topographic map.
The 15-minute air temperature data for this station are
temporary and will only be displayed for 120 days. Time
series of 15-minute or cumulative daily values will NOT be
available for retrieval following the 120-day display period.
Although the instrumentation is calibrated at least once/year,
the temporary classification means that documented routine
inspections and other quality assurance measures are not
performed that would make the data acceptable for archival,
retrieval, or future use in general scientific or interpretive
