STATION.--403734080063001 ALLEGHENY COUNTY, local well number AG700
LOCATION.--Lat 40`37'34.3", long 80`06'30.2", Hydrologic Unit 05030101, at State Game Land No. 203, Bradford Woods.
OWNER.--U.S. Geological Survey.
AQUIFER.--Sandstone and shale of Glenshaw Formation of Late Pennsylvania age.
WELL CHARACTERISTICS.--Drilled observation well, diameter 6 in., depth 100 ft, cased to 24 ft, open hole.
INSTRUMENTATION.--Data collection platform with 60-minute recording interval. Satellite telemetry at station.
DATUM.--Elevation of land surface is 1,028 ft above North American Vertical Datum of 1988, from Lidar. Measuring point: Top of casing, 3.45 ft above land-surface datum.
REMARKS.--Daily maximum, minimum, and mean water levels since October 1987 are available from the District Office.
PERIOD OF RECORD.--November 1967 to current year.
COOPERATION.--Funding for the operation of this station is provided by the Pennsylvania Department of Environmental Protection and the U.S. Geological Survey.
This station managed by the PAWSC Pittsburgh Field Office.
