LOCATION--Lat 42o05'44", long 71o17'37", Norfolk County, Hydrologic Unit 01090001, 15 ft northwest of State Highway 1A and 0.1 mi northeast of Valley Street in Norfolk.
AQUIFER--Sand and gravel, glaciated regions; outwash aquifer.
WELL CHARACTERISTICS--Augered observation water-table well, diameter 2 in., depth 20.19 ft, screened 15.86 to 18.65 ft.
INSTRUMENTATION--Data Collection Platform with satellite telemeter, Aug. 2001 to Sept. 2018 (NNW 27), Sept. 2018 to current year (NNW 27R). Monthly measurement prior to Aug. 2001.
DATUM--Elevation of land-surface datum is 160 ft above National Geodetic Vertical Datum of 1929, from topographic map. Measuring point top of PVC, 2.79 ft
PERIOD OF RECORD--January 1965 to current year. Prior to October 1974, published in Massachusetts Hydrologic-Data Report No. 17.
COOPERATION BY--Massachusetts Department of Conservation and Recreation, Office of Water Resources.
