LOCATION--Lat 42o40'55", long 71o43'53", Middlesex County, Hydrologic Unit 01070004, well located at the intersection of Dudley Rd and Turnpike Rd, 0.6 mi from Squannacook Rd, in Townsend.
AQUIFER--Sand and gravel, glaciated regions; ice contact deposits aquifer.
WELL CHARACTERISTICS--Augered observation water-table well, diameter 2.0 in, depth 33.9 ft.
INSTRUMENTATION--Data Collection Platform with celluar telephone telemeter, Sept. 2017 to Aug. 2018 (TRW 13), Aug. 2018 to current year (TRW 13R). Monthly measurement prior to Sept. 2017.
DATUM--Elevation of land-surface datum is 310 ft above National Geodetic Vertical Datum of 1929, from topographic map.
Measuring point: 2.99 ft, top of casing of aluminum shelter.
PERIOD OF RECORD--November 1963 to current year.
COOPERATION BY--Massachusetts Department of Conservation and Recreation, Office of Water Resources.
