LOCATION--Lat 42°48'41.8", long 71°00'41.8", Essex County, Hydrologic Unit 01090001, about 50 ft north of Amesbury Line Road and 0.9 mi south of State Highway 110 in Haverhill, MA.
AQUIFER--Sand and gravel, glaciated regions, outwash deposits.
WELL CHARACTERISTICS--Dug observation water-table well, diameter 12 in, depth 15.1 ft, open end.
INSTRUMENTATION--Digital recorder with satellite telemeter, March 2014 to current year. Recorded data October 1984 to March 2014. Graphic recorder with 5-day data, October 1960 to September 1982. Monthly measurements prior to January 1967.
DATUM--Elevation of land-surface datum of well is 107.61 ft above National Geodetic Vertical Datum of 1929, from levels. Measuring point: top of hole in base of box shelter, 1.68 ft above land-surface datum.
PERIOD OF RECORD--July 1960 to current year.
COOPERATION BY--Massachusetts Department of Conservation and Recreation, Office of Water Resources.
