USGS 01105880 HERRING RIVER AT NORTH HARWICH, MA

LOCATION--Lat 41°41’56", long 70°06’38", Barnstable County, Hydrologic Unit 01090002, on right bank downstream side of bridge on Rt. 6 at North Harwich.
DRAINAGE AREA--9.4 mi2.
PERIOD OF RECORD--June 1966 to September 1988, September 2007 to current year.
GAGE--Data Collection Platform with satellite telemeter. Datum of gage is 10 ft above National Geodetic Vertical Datum of 1929, from topographic map.
REMARKS--Occasional regulation by cranberry bog upstream. This stream drains from a ground-water basin which is larger than, and not coincident with, the surface-water basin.
COOPERATION BY--Massachusetts Department of Conservation and Recreation, Office of Water Resources.
