LOCATION.--Lat 40°33'39", long 74°32'56" referenced to North American Datum of 1983, Bound Brook Borough, Somerset County, NJ, Hydrologic Unit 02030105, on downstream right wingwall of bridge on Talmadge Avenue (County Route 533) at Bound Brook, 0.6 mi downstream from bridge on State Route 28, and 0.5 mi upstream from mouth.
DRAINAGE AREA.--17.2 mi2.
PERIOD OF RECORD.--Miscellaneous measurements, water years 1955, 1975, 1982-83, 1985-87, 1991 to current year. Annual maximum, water years 1993-2007, June 2010 to current year.
REVISED RECORDS.--WDR US-2011: Datum of gage.
GAGE.--Water-stage and precipitation recorder with telemetry and crest-stage gage. Datum of gage is 20.47 ft above NAVD of 1988.
REMARKS.--Peak stages at this gage may be affected by backwater from the Raritan River. Annual peak data can be obtained by selecting Peak streamflow from the 'Available data for this site' drop-down menu above or by using this link.
EXTREMES FOR PERIOD OF RECORD.--Maximum gage height, 19.76 ft (due to backwater from Raritan River), Sep 17, 1999.
