LOCATION--Lat 42°13’15", long 70°58’43", Norfolk County, Hydrologic Unit 01090001, on right bank, 3 ft downstream from Commercial Street bridge, and 0.2 mi upstream from mouth at East Braintree.
DRAINAGE AREA--28.7 mi2.
PERIOD OF RECORD--Discharge: March 2006 to current year. Intermittent discharge measurements, water years 1999, 2000, 2003.
Water-quality records: Water years 1999, 2000.
GAGE--Data Collection Platform with satellite telemeter. Datum of gage is 4.20 ft above NAVD 1988, estimated from topographic map. Prior to May 12, 2020, datum of gage reported as 5 ft above NGVD 1929, estimated from topographic map.
REMARKS--Flow may be infrequently affected by unusually high tides.
COOPERATION BY

FLOOD STAGE--4.5 feet, established by National Weather Service. Moderate flooding at 6.0 feet and major flooding at 8.0 feet- NWS
