This station is part of a 2-year multipurpose streamflow monitoring network expansion project for 15 new streamgages across New Hampshire. The expansion project was requested by the New Hampshire Rivers Management Advisory Committee (RMAC), proposed by the Stream Gage Task Force (SGTF), and funding for installation was provided by the New Hampshire Legislature. Data collection at this streamgage is scheduled to be discontinued on June 30, 2011. Although historic data will remain accessible, no new data will be collected unless one or more funding partners are found. Users who are willing to contribute funding to continue operation of this streamgage should contact Keith Robinson of the USGS New Hampshire-Vermont Water Science Center at (603) 226-7807.
