   on downstream side of bridge on James Street, at Newport and 7.5 mi upstream from the confluence
   with the Delaware River.
DRAINAGE AREA.--Not determined.
PERIOD OF RECORD.--November 1993 to current year.
GAGE.--Water-stage recorder. Datum of gage is 0.00 ft above North American Vertical Datum of 1988 (NAVD88).
   Prior to October 1, 2015, at datum 1.05 ft higher.
REMARKS.--This is a tidal station. Discharge is not determined at this location. U.S. Geological 
   Survey satellite data-collection platform at station. 
EXTREMES FOR PERIOD OF RECORD.--Maximum elevation, 8.41 ft, at datum then in use, October 30, 2012; 
   minimum elevation, -5.55 ft, at datum then in use, March 6, 2007.

7/28/2016 Notice to users - Water level data, beginning on 10/1/2015, at this site has been
re-computed to reference the water level to NAVD88 datum. In order to convert historic
water level data stored in NGVD29 datum to the current NAVD88 datum, users must apply
known -1.05 ft datum shift, as calculated for this location using VERTCON.
