This station is operated in cooperation with the North Carolina Department of Environment and Natural Resources (DENR), Division of Water Resources.

Water Quality Data are collected by Elizabeth City State University under general supervision of the U.S. Geological Survey.

Positive values of streamflow and velocity represent a general south southwesterly direction and negative values are in a general north northeasterly direction.
