STATION.--03049681 ALLEGHENY RIVER AT LOCK AND DAM NO. 2 (LOWER POOL) AT ASPINWALL, PA
LOCATION.--Lat 40`29'17", long 79`55'02", Allegheny County, Hydrologic Unit 05010009.
DRAINAGE AREA.--11,700 square miles.
PERIOD OF RECORD.-- August 2010 to current year.
GAGE.--Water stage recorder. Station maintained for stage readings only. Datum of gage is 693.4 ft above North American Vertical Datum of 1988. Prior to February 15, 2024, the datum of gage was reported as 694.2 ft above National Geodetic Vertical Datum of 1929.
COOPERATION.--Funding for the operation of this station provided by the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, Pittsburgh District.
This station managed by the PAWSC Pittsburgh Field Office.
