STATION.--03085213 SAWMILL RUN AT DUQUESNE HEIGHTS NEAR PITTSBURGH, PA
LOCATION.--Lat 40`25'58", long 80`01'47", Allegheny County, Hydrologic Unit 05030101, on right bank 30 ft upstream from single-span concrete traffic bridge along Minnotte Street and 10 ft streamward from Minnotte Co. Industrial building, 0.3 mi south of intersection with Green Tree Road, 1.2 mi northeast of Interstate 279, and 0.9 mi upstream from mouth at Ohio River.
DRAINAGE AREA.--18.1 square miles.
PERIOD OF RECORD.--Non-recording gage, December 8, 2003 to April 30, 2004; May 2004 to September 2014; October 2014 to current year (stage only).
GAGE.--Water-stage recorder and crest-stage gage. Datum of gage is 742.4 ft. above North American Vertical Datum of 1988, Prior to January 8, 2024, the datum of gage was erroneously reported as 790 ft or 860 ft above National Geodetic Vertical Datum of 1929 depending on source. Satellite telemetry at station.
COOPERATION.--Funding for the operation of this station is provided by the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, Pittsburgh District.
This station managed by the PAWSC Pittsburgh Field Office.
