LOCATION - Lat 44°56'13", long 67°44'10" referenced to North American Datum of 1983, Washington County, ME, Hydrologic Unit 01050002, on left bank at upstream side of State Route 9 highway bridge, 0.6 mi upstream from Chain Lakes Stream, and 3.6 mi west of Wesley.
DRAINAGE AREA - 29.1 mi².
REVISIONS HISTORY - WDR ME-00-1: 1999(M).
SURFACE-WATER RECORDS
PERIOD OF RECORD - DISCHARGE: July 1998 to current year.
GAGE - Water-stage recorder and crest-stage gage. Elevation of gage is 170 ft above National Geodetic Vertical Datum of 1929, from topographic map.
REMARKS -
  • Water Year 2017: Records good, except for periods of ice effect, Dec. 10 to Jan. 25, Jan. 31 to Feb. 22, Feb. 26 to Mar. 24, which are poor.
  • Water Year 2016: Records good, except for periods of ice effect, Dec. 27 to Jan. 10, Jan. 16 to Feb. 3, Feb. 18-25, Mar. 2-11, period of doubtful stage-discharge relation, Oct. 23-27, and period of no gage-height record, July 28 to Aug. 1, which are fair.
  • Water Year 2015: Records good, except periods of ice effect, Dec. 7-9, Jan. 1-2, 4-5, 7-10, 27-29, Feb. 2-3, 14-16, 23-24, 27-28, Mar. 6, 15-16, 18, 22-23, which are fair.
