LOCATION - Lat 44°51'40", long 68°49'54" referenced to North American Datum of 1983, Penobscot County, ME, Hydrologic Unit 01020005, on right bank at upstream side of State Route 15 highway bridge, just below Six Mile Falls and 6 miles northwest of Bangor.
DRAINAGE AREA - 196 mi².
PERIOD OF RECORD - DISCHARGE: September 1908 to September 1919, December 2009 to current year.
GAGE - Water stage recorder and crest-stage gage. Datum of gage is 69.14 ft above North American Vertical Datum of 1988.
REMARKS - Flow subject to possible diversion from Souadabscook Stream into Kenduskeag Stream during high stages.

  • Water Year 2017: Records good, except for period of no gage-height record, Apr. 29 to May 1, which is fair, except for period of doubtful stage-discharge relation, Sept. 24-30, and period of ice effect, Dec. 6 to Apr. 10, which are poor.
  • Water Year 2016: Records good, except for periods of ice effect, Dec. 21-22, Dec. 29 to Jan. 10, and Jan. 14 to Mar. 10, which are poor.
