LOCATION - Lat 45°13'44.58", long 70°12'04.06" referenced to North American Datum of 1983, Somerset County, ME, Hydrologic Unit 01030002, on left bank at foot of Long Falls, in T. 3, R. 4, 0.4 mi upstream from Black Brook, and 0.5 mi downstream from Flagstaff Lake Dam.
DRAINAGE AREA - 516 mi².
REVISIONS HISTORY - WDR ME 81-1: Drainage area.
SURFACE-WATER RECORDS
PERIOD OF RECORD - October 1939 to September 1982, June 2014 to current year. Monthly discharge only for October to December 1939, in WSP 1301.
GAGE - Water-stage recorder and crest-stage gage. Datum of gage is 1037.32 ft above National Geodetic Vertical Datum of 1929.
REMARKS - Flow regulated by Moosehead, Brassua, and Flagstaff Lakes, and Indian Pond. Considerable diurnal fluctuation caused by power plant above station.
