LOCATION - Lat 44°56'51", long 69°39'25" referenced to North American Datum of 1983, Somerset County, ME, Hydrologic Unit 01030003, on left bank at downstream side of State Route 150 highway bridge, 1.9 mi northeast of Athens, 3.0 mi northeast of Barker Pond.
DRAINAGE AREA - 19.5 mi².
SURFACE-WATER RECORDS
PERIOD OF RECORD - DISCHARGE: June 2008 to current year.
REVISED RECORDS - WDR-US-2010: 2009(P), WDR-US-2011: 2009(P).
GAGE - Water-stage recorder and crest-stage gage. Datum of gage is 500 ft above National Geodetic Vertical Datum of 1929.
REMARKS -
  • Water Year 2016: Records good, except for flows below 2 ft³/s, period of no gage-height record, Sept. 15-16, which are fair, and periods of ice effect, Nov. 22 to Dec. 2, Dec. 27 to Mar. 14, which are poor.
  • Water Year 2015: Records good, except for flows below 2 ft³/s, period of doubtful stage-discharge relation, Oct. 1-5, period of doubtful gage-height record, Apr. 22 to May 6, which are fair, and periods of ice effect, Nov. 21-23, Nov. 27 to Dec. 11, Dec. 21-22, Dec. 31 to Apr. 14, which are poor.
  • Water Year 2014: Records good, except for flows below 2 ft³/s, periods of doubtful stage-discharge relation, Oct. 1-31, Sept. 17-30, period of doubtful gage-height record, May 15 to July 15, which are fair, and periods of ice effect, Nov. 24-26, Nov. 29 to Dec. 1, Dec. 8 to Apr. 13, which are poor.
