LOCATION - Lat 44°39'58", long 71°10'53" referenced to North American Datum of 1983, Coos County, NH, Hydrologic Unit 01040001, on right bank 0.1 mi downstream from Bog Brook, 4 mi upstream from Pontook Dam, and 8 mi north of Milan, New Hampshire.
DRAINAGE AREA - 1,177 mi².
SURFACE-WATER RECORDS
PERIOD OF RECORD - DISCHARGE: October 2008 to current year. MISCELLANEOUS MEASUREMENTS: 1991, 2004, 2006.
GAGE - Water-stage recorder and crest-stage gage. Datum of gage is 1,180 ft above National Geodetic Vertical Datum of 1929, from topographic map.
REMARKS - Flow regulated by Rangeley, Mooselookmeguntic, Richardson, Aziscohos, and Umbagog Lakes, with final regulation at Errol Dam, 12.3 mi upstream.
