01097300 NASHOBA BROOK NEAR ACTON, MA
LOCATION - Lat 42°30'45", long 71°24'17" referenced to North American Datum of 1927, Middlesex County, MA, Hydrologic Unit 01070005, on right bank 500 ft downstream from dam at North Acton, 2.2 mi northeast of Acton, and 5 mi upstream from mouth.
DRAINAGE AREA - 12.8 mi².
REVISIONS HISTORY - WDR MA-RI-84-1: Drainage area; 2011 water year, annual peak discharge and gage height.
SURFACE-WATER RECORDS
PERIOD OF RECORD - Discharge: July 1963 to current year.
GAGE - Data Collection Platform with satellite telemeter. Datum of gage is 154.19 ft above NAVD 1988, estimated from topographic map. Datum previously reported as 155 ft above NGVD 1929, estimated from topographic map. Prior to Jan. 8, 1997, at site 1,000 ft downstream, at same datum.
COOPERATION - Massachusetts Department of Conservation and Recreation, Office of Water Resources.
REMARKS - Records good except those for estimated daily discharge, which are poor. Occasional regulation since 1967 by pond upstream.

Note: The historical peak gage height of 7.86 ft on Mar. 15, 2010 was from the peak-stage indicator.
