LOCATION - Lat 41°35'07", long 70°59'27" referenced to North American Datum of 1927, Bristol County, MA, Hydrologic Unit 01090002, at bridge on Russells Mills Road, 3.0 mi west of South Dartmouth.
DRAINAGE AREA - 26.2 mi².  
REVISIONS HISTORY - WDR MA-RI-03-1 (monthly mean discharge).
SURFACE-WATER RECORDS
PERIOD OF RECORD - October 1995 to current year. Discharge measurements made in water years 1972-74, 1991-92.
GAGE - Data Collection Platform with satellite telemeter. Datum of gage is 9.20 ft above NAVD 1988, estimated from topographic map. Datum previously reported as 10 ft above NGVD 1929, estimated from topographic map.
COOPERATION - Town of Dartmouth.
REMARKS - Records fair except those for estimated daily discharges and for discharges less than 1 cubic foot per second, which are poor. Flow affected by upstream ground-water withdrawals for municipal water supply.
