01111300 NIPMUC RIVER NEAR HARRISVILLE, RI
LOCATION - Lat 41°58'52", long 71°41'11" referenced to North American Datum of 1927, Providence County, RI, Hydrologic Unit 01090003, on left bank 1.0 mi upstream from mouth and 1.2 mi northwest of Harrisville.
DRAINAGE AREA - 16 mi².  
REVISIONS HISTORY -

WDR MA-RI-98-1: 1999. WDR MA-RI, water years 2003-2009, annual peak discharges.

Water Year 2018: Peak GH revised based on recorded CSG mark. Peak Q estimate remained unaltered as the estimate is within 5% of the computed Q for the revised peak GH.

Water Year Peak Revisions : WY 2023 was 431 cfs and is now 383 cfs.  WY 2021 on 09/02 at 1300 cfs and now is on 07/09 at 991 cfs.  Both of these revisions were due to a shift removal in error.

SURFACE-WATER RECORDS
PERIOD OF RECORD - Discharge: March 1964 to September 1991, October 1993 to current year. Water-quality records: Water year 1968.
GAGE - Data Collection Platform with satellite telemeter. Datum of gage is 333.5 ft above NAVD 1988. 
COOPERATION - Rhode Island Department of Environmental Management.
REMARKS - Records fair except those for discharges greater than 200 cfs and those for estimated daily discharges, which are poor.

The historical peak flow of 3,900 cfs on Oct. 15, 2005, is based on rating curve extended above 530 ft³/s.
