LOCATION - Lat 41°53'18", long 71°22'55" referenced to North American Datum of 1927, Providence County, RI, Hydrologic Unit 01090003, on right bank at upstream side of Roosevelt Ave. bridge at Pawtucket.
DRAINAGE AREA - 474 mi².  
SURFACE-WATER RECORDS
PERIOD OF RECORD - October 2003 to November 2005, October 2006 to present.
GAGE - Data Collection Platform with telephone telemeter. Datum of gage is 33.66 ft above NAVD 1988.  Datum previously reported as 19.20 ft above NAVD 1988, estimated from topographic map. Datum previously reported as 20 ft above NGVD 1929, estimated from topographic map.
COOPERATION - Rhode Island Department of Environmental Management.
REMARKS - Records fair except those for estimated discharges, which are poor. Flow regulated by powerplants, by West Hill Reservoir since May 1961, and by other reservoirs upstream.
