LOCATION - Lat 42°35'18", long 72°02'29" referenced to North American Datum of 1927, Worcester County, MA, Hydrologic Unit 01080202, on right bank at upstream side of Turner Street Bridge, 0.2 mi upstream from Bailey Brook, 0.8 mi southeast of Otter River, and 2 mi northwest of Gardner.
DRAINAGE AREA - 34.1 mi².
REVISIONS HISTORY - WDR MA-RI-84-1: Drainage area.
SURFACE-WATER RECORDS
PERIOD OF RECORD - Discharge: December 1964 to current year. Water year 1965-69, 1994, 2003-05.Water-quality records: Water year 1965-69, 1994, 2003-05. Intermittent water-quality samples, water years 1965-69, 1994, 2003-05.
GAGE - Data Collection Platform with satellite telemeter. Datum of gage is 900 ft above NAVD 1988, estimated from topographic map. Prior to May 11, 2020, datum reported as 900 ft above NGVD 1929, estimated from topographic map.
COOPERATION - Massachusetts Department of Conservation and Recreation, Office of Water Resources.
REMARKS - Records good except those for estimated daily discharge, which are poor. Flows are affected by daily releases from upstream waste water treatment plant.
