LOCATION - Lat 41°32'30", long 72°33'13" referenced to North American Datum of 1927, Middlesex County, CT, Hydrologic Unit 01080205, on pier of United Technologies Corporation (formerly Connecticut Advanced Nuclear Engineering Laboratory, CANEL), 0.8 mi south of Middle Haddam, 7.6 mi upstream from Salmon River, and 6.1 mi south of Middletown.
DRAINAGE AREA - 10,897 mi².
