LOCATION - Lat 40°45'21", long 73°44'45" referenced to North American Datum of 1983, Queens County, NY, Hydrologic Unit 02030201, on right bank just upstream from Cross Island Parkway entrance ramp, at upstream side of culvert in Alley Pond Park, about 4.0 mi northeast of Oakland Gardens.
DRAINAGE AREA - 0.68 mi².
REVISIONS HISTORY - WDR-US-2008: Drainage area.
SURFACE-WATER RECORDS
PERIOD OF RECORD - June 1993 to September 2006, August 2007 to April 2013 (discontinued).
GAGE - Water-stage recorder. Datum of gage is 5.26 ft above NGVD of 1929.
REMARKS - Records poor. Satellite gage-height telemeter at station.
EXTREMES FOR PERIOD OF RECORD - Maximum discharge, 354 ft³/s, Oct. 19, 1996, gage height, 5.09 ft, from rating curve extended above 60 ft³/s; maximum gage height, 6.27 ft, Oct. 29, 2012, backwater from high tide; minimum discharge, 0.66 ft³/s, part or all of many days 1995-97, Mar. 27, 2003, June 17-19, 21-24, 2004, all result of regulation.
