LOCATION - Lat 40°51'58.4", long 73°42'36.7" referenced to North American Datum of 1983, Nassau County, NY, Hydrologic Unit 02030201, at Beach Road bridge, in Sands Point.
SURFACE-WATER RECORDS
PERIOD OF RECORD - December 2007 to current year.
GAGE - Water-stage recorder. Datum of gage is NGVD of 1929.
REMARKS - Satellite telemeter for elevation at station.  Gaps in record caused by equipment malfunctions are filled with estimated data from nearby gage 01302600 West Pond at Glen Cove NY.
EXTREMES OUTSIDE PERIOD OF RECORD - Storm tide of Dec. 11, 1992, reached an elevation of 11.5 ft, from high-water mark at site 3.1 mi east.
EXTREMES FOR PERIOD OF RECORD - Maximum elevation, 11.39 ft, Oct. 29, 2012; minimum elevation, 2.93 ft, Sept. 13, 2020.
WATER-QUALITY RECORDS

REMARKS - Satellite telemeter for water temperature, specific conductance, and sampling depth parameters at station discontinued Oct. 1, 2011 to Sept. 30, 2012.
