LOCATION - Lat 42°04'47.0", long 74°20'04.5" referenced to North American Datum of 1983, Ulster County, NY, Hydrologic Unit 02020006, on right bank 0.2 mi upstream from mouth, and 1.5 mi southwest of Phoenicia on Woodland Valley Road.
DRAINAGE AREA - 20.6 mi².  
SURFACE-WATER RECORDS
PERIOD OF RECORD - August 2003 to current year.
GAGE - Water-stage recorder and crest-stage gage. Datum of gage is 870.52 ft above NAVD of 1988.
REMARKS - Water Years 2014-24: Records fair except those for estimated daily discharges, which are poor.
EXTREMES OUTSIDE PERIOD OF RECORD - Maximum discharge, 6,240 ft³/s, Oct. 15, 1955, by computation of slope-area measurement.
EXTREMES FOR PERIOD OF RECORD - Maximum discharge, 8,600 ft³/s, Apr. 2, 2005, gage height, 10.65 ft, from rating curve extended above 3,200 ft³/s, on basis of slope-area measurements at gage heights 10.00 ft and 10.65 ft; minimum discharge, 1.0 ft³/s, Sept. 24, 25, 2005, gage height, 4.13 ft; minimum gage height, 3.41 ft, Aug. 25, 28, 29, 30, 2022.
