LOCATION - Lat 41°06'19", long 74°33'34.6" referenced to North American Datum of 1983, Hardyston Township, Sussex County, NJ, Hydrologic Unit 02020007, on left bank, 60 ft downstream of culvert on State Route 23, 0.3 mi west of the town of Beaver Lake, 0.8 mi north of Beaver Lake, and 1.7 mi upstream from Franklin Pond.
DRAINAGE AREA - 5.74 mi².
SURFACE-WATER RECORDS
PERIOD OF RECORD - Miscellaneous measurements water year 2005. Continuous-record gaging station, September 2010 to March 2014.
GAGE - Water-stage recorder with telemetry and crest-stage gage. Datum of gage is 900 ft NAVD 88 (from topographic map).
REMARKS - Records fair, except for estimated discharges, which are poor. Occasional regulation by ponds upstream. Discharges above 600 ft³/s based on logarithmic extension of rating.
