LOCATION - Lat 40°45'52.7", long 74°00'11.5" referenced to North American Datum of 1983, New York County, NY, Hydrologic Unit 02030101, on left bank at Hudson River Park on Pier 84, 4.0 mi upstream of mouth, 6.6 mi downstream of George Washington Bridge on US Highway 95, and 8.9 mi downstream of Harlem River in New York, New York.

INSTRUMENTATION - A multi-parameter water-quality sonde measures water temperature, specific conductance, pH, dissolved oxygen, and turbidity at 15-minute intervals since May 2019. Salinity record computed from specific-conductance readings.
