- For water years 2014 onward, choose a water year and parameter and an on-demand Water-Year Summary report will be generated.
- For water years 2006 through 2013, choose a water year and an Annual Water Data Report will be provided.
- For water years 2005 and earlier, Annual Water Data Reports may be available in digital format.
- Not all sites have reports available for every water year.

LOCATION - Lat 40°59'34", long 74°16'44" referenced to North American Datum of 1983, Pompton Lakes Borough, Passaic County, NJ, Hydrologic Unit 02030103, on right bank at Pompton Dam, 450 ft upstream from bridge on Paterson-Hamburg Turnpike in Pompton Lakes, and 2.0 mi upstream from mouth.
DRAINAGE AREA - 160 mi².
SURFACE-WATER RECORDS
PERIOD OF RECORD - Continuous-record discharge station, October 1921 to November 2004, published as "Ramapo River at Pompton Lakes, NJ (01388000)". Continuous-record gage-height station, October 2009 to current.
GAGE - Water-stage recorder with telemetry. Datum of gage is 190.96 ft above NGVD of 1929. Prior to Oct 1, 1981, at datum 10.0 ft higher.
REMARKS - Since April 2007, two flood gates in dam control lake level. Annual peak data can be obtained by selecting Peak streamflow from the 'Available data for this site' drop-down menu above or by using this link.
