SURFACE-WATER RECORDS
PERIOD OF RECORD - Miscellaneous measurements, water year 2011. Continuous-record discharge station, October 2012 to current year.
GAGE - Water-stage recorder with telemetry, crest-stage gage, and concrete control. Datum of gage is 48.07 ft above NAVD of 1988.
REMARKS - Records fair, except for estimated discharges, which are poor. Diurnal fluctuations at low flow probably due to patterns of sewage effluent entering river upstream. The flow past this station may be affected by pumpage from wells by SUEZ (formerly United Water New Jersey) and others.
EXTREMES FOR PERIOD OF RECORD - Maximum discharge, 4,700 ft3/s, gage height 7.29ft., September 2, 2021; minimum discharge, 8.9 ft³/s, Sept 11, 2016.
